Dr. Meral Sozen

Dr. Who is Meral Sözen?

I was born in Ankara. After completing my pre-undergraduate studies in Ankara, I successfully completed my medical education, which I started at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998, and received the title of doctor of medicine in 2005.

between the years of 2005-2010, I did my residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and received the specialty of Internal Medicine. Dec.

with the minor specialization exam held in 2010, I won the minor specialization exam in Turgut Özal University Gastroenterology Department and received education in the field of gastroenterology between Dec. 2010-2014. In this process, I had the opportunity to expand my field of education by participating in many scientific programs.

I had the opportunity to increase my experience about diseases by working in different state hospitals, especially Şanlıurfa Mehmet Akif Inan Training and Research Hospital and Ankara Yenimahalle Training and Research Hospital. By participating in many scientific training programs, I have increased my experience in the treatment of different diseases. Especially in Şanlıurfa, I had the opportunity to intervene in very different cases in terms of endoscopic interventions and to intervene in difficult cases regarding the follow-up of liver diseases. This process, for my part, has led me to gain experience with difficult cases, especially in endoscopy, and advanced liver diseases. I have participated in many congresses and trainings in the field of Medicine throughout my educational life. I like to spend time in nature, play sports and read books.

After the process of gaining experience in public hospitals, I planned to provide a better quality service to people by starting to work in my own practice, where the technological possibilities are better. We work with pleasure because the equipment I have in my office is the best tools in today's conditions.
